Please find below a statement from The Society about our working relationship with Highwood Homes during the Sea Road project in Southampton.
 
“In developing the homes, Swaythling Housing Society worked in partnership with Highwood Construction, Southampton City Council and the Housing Corporation to help transform the site, which was previously wasteland, into twelve one and two bedroom flats for shared ownership and 10 three and four bedroom houses for general needs rent.
 
The site had significant abnormal costs and a very steep bank making it very difficult to work on. Highwood provided excellent technical knowledge to overcome all the issues associated with the site and excellent communication throughout the whole build, leading to a very high standard of workmanship and top end finish. The Swaythling Housing Society looks forward to working with Highwood again on future projects”.
